We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions

Prepare budget forecasts

Publish financial statements in time

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Ensure timely bank payments

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

Audit financial transactions and documents

Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements

Work experience as an Accountant

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks

Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables

Experience with general ledger functions

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus

Job description

We’re looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and result-driven Sales Assistant to join our Showroom team based in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Furniture sales & customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Client reception, visits, and advice: Meet and greet clients in the showroom, understand their needs, make presentations and advise them on products and solutions suiting their needs.

• Client Quotations and order booking: Prepare the quotations according to the clients’ needs and specifications, send them to the clients and negotiate and follow-up with them till closing the deal.

• Invoicing and Delivery: Conduct and handle payments from clients, follow up with the technical department to ensure delivery to the clients in line with the specifications and timeline established.

• Client Relationship Management: Build close and good relations with potential and existing clients, and do a proper follow-up. Be the contact person for the client. Resolve efficiently potential problems with clients and coordinate internally for the appropriate solutions.

• Payment terms, policies and procedures: Follow strictly the terms and conditions of sales in line with the company’s policy frame and procedures; make recommendations about procedural/policy changes and improvements.

• Be aware of developments in the local market by being attentive to information given by customers; be aware on advertising and promotions in the media and make scheduled market visits to maintain the company’s competitive advantage and to properly advise customers.

• Be up to date with changes in the company’s products range such as new items or changes in existing items; Keep the Sales Manager informed of any customer’s problems/comments on the product range and/or any gaps in the range. Operational,

• Be understanding and sensitive in meeting diverse customers’ needs by initiating and developing effective way of building relationship with the customer thereby establishing trust and confidence.

• Determine the customers’ requirements, to prepare a pro forma invoice.

• Maintain contact and advice customers on news or recently received items of interest as well as following up on quotations sent in an effort to convert to actual sales.
