The sixth edition of the Dubai Home Festival, running from 16 October to 1 November 2026, carries special significance this year amid the continued growth of the real estate sector and the approaching handover of a large number of new residential units — driving demand for furniture, interior design and finishing works. The festival continues to play its role in stimulating commercial activity and encouraging competition and innovation by showcasing the latest design trends and offers tailored to consumers’ needs.
This year’s edition brings a diverse mix of shopping experiences and events, including discounts, promotions and special activities, with the participation of Dubai’s leading furniture and home furnishing stores. Among them is ebarza, taking part in the festival for the sixth consecutive year and offering discounts of up to 75% on a selected range of products, alongside free consultations provided by the designers of the ebarza Interior Design Studio to showroom visitors.
Maana Abu Daqqa, Founder and CEO of ebarza, said the festival’s timing coincides with a pivotal phase in Dubai’s real estate market, with tens of thousands of residential units expected to be handed over during 2026 and 2027 — creating growing opportunities across the interior design, furniture, finishing, lighting and smart solutions sectors. “We also see that consumers have become far more attentive to material quality, architectural detailing, lighting and smart solutions, pushing companies to develop their products and present innovative ideas that go beyond the traditional concept of selling furniture. This makes the festival a true platform for everything new in the world of furniture and interior design.”
He added: “A large segment of customers receiving their new properties turn first to interior design work — wall design, custom joinery and lighting — before moving on to furniture selection. This has made integrated turnkey solutions, from design through furnishing and execution, a decisive factor in consumers’ choices.”
He stressed that the Dubai Home Festival’s importance extends beyond commercial offers to strengthening consumer confidence and energizing housing-related sectors, noting that the continued participation of ebarza — which has completed more than 550 interior design and furnishing projects across Dubai and Abu Dhabi — for the sixth year reflects the value of such initiatives in supporting the market and keeping pace with its evolving needs.
Abu Daqqa concluded: “Every new residential unit handed over represents an economic opportunity for multiple sectors, from interior design and finishing to furniture and fittings. We expect this momentum to continue in the coming period, driven by real estate growth and customers’ rising interest in fully designed living spaces that combine aesthetics, comfort and quality of execution.”
The Dubai Home Festival is part of broader efforts to reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading regional destination for shopping and retail festivals, attracting shoppers from across the UAE and beyond. Previous editions have cemented the festival’s place on the emirate’s commercial events calendar by combining shopping experiences, promotions and diverse activities.
